In March 2017 the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council tragically lost one of their staff in a vehicle incident. Like all accidents, it was unexpected and the outcome was most severe. The loss of a life, a dad to two wee girls, a husband, friend and son.
Tonkin + Taylor were already using the inReach device. They have staff who are often out of cell cover, and at times, overnight.

GAS order and configure every device with each location’s specific requirements, setting them up on the management platform, with agreed upon risk profiles for the various business units.

Guardian Angel Security (GAS) responded to the unique requirements of NEC with a national, customised, end to end EGIS cellular solution.
Guardian Angel Security (GAS) was awarded The Waikato Regional Council (WRC) contract following a tender process. The satellite and cell-based solution was implemented across 120 staff in July 2017. The project has earned the Project Team a letter of commendation from the CEO and was nominated for an internal award.
Taranaki Regional Council had a solution they’d outgrown. They got in touch with us and together, we formulated a plan to optimise the way they use their inReach devices to take advantage of their full potential.
