We are excited to announce that we will be distributing the Zepcam Body Camera (made in the Netherlands) from June 2025.
While traditionally used for evidence and de-escalation, we saw an opportunity to develop body camera tech for our lone workers. We are proud to have been working with Zepcam to develop a duress feature as part of the offering. We are currently developing and testing the API for the duress alert so that we can provide monitoring. It will have:
- GPS location (when in view of the sky),
- streaming and recording,
- voice/sound to monitoring station and
- many other great features.
The operator will be able to log in on a secure link to view what is happening to provide situation awareness to Emergency Services. Importantly, they will not be able to download videos or access archived recordings.
The Zepcam body Cameras are already in use by the Belgian and French Police services, various European Local Government agencies and transport operators, to name a few. It’s a proven, trusted product in Europe and we’re very excited to be able to offer this safety solution to our Australian and New Zealand customers.
