Are you looking for a lone worker monitoring service? We help organisations like yours in New Zealand & Australia keep track of their staff when they are working alone and respond should an incident or emergy occur. Our lone worker monitoring centre will help you keep track of lone workers and make sure you get lone worker alerts when it counts!

How can we help you:

✔ The right devices for the job

✔ Highly trained monitoring team in your corner

✔ Fail-proof systems designed to work in your unique environment.

What makes us the best solution for the job:

Our high trained monitoring team:

Our highly trained monitoring staff acts by listening to and capturing everything that occurs during an incident involving lone workers so that they can respond appropriately. How we respond depends on the severity of the situation and may include calling out emergency services, alerting colleagues/supervisors and archiving recordings as evidence for potential legal action.

API Lone Worker Monitoring:

Our API (Application Programming Interfaces) means alerts come straight into the response software and create an alarm with the response instructions popping up in front of the operator.

*What is an API?- In general terms, API integration is the connection between two or more applications via their APIs that allow systems to exchange data sources. A graded monitoring centre like ours with API integration in place means an alert cannot get delayed or lost.

Getting a lone worker alert when it counts! We are the only worker safety provider in New Zealand and Australia that has these integrations in place for all our solutions.

The danger of relying on email alerts:

We know of other stations that receive an SOS in email form to an inbox. To us, that is so antiquated and highly dangerous as someone has to see that SOS/email come into the inbox.

What if they don’t see it immediately?

What if minutes elapse before they do?

Or, the station might have a monitor screen with each application they monitor open on a screen to spot it there – in other words, a station could be monitoring 10 different solutions and rely on staff to see the alert come into any of the screens!

That is really bad practice and a highly risky one.

You can’t train operators very well or get consistent results/responses, and you also can’t report on activations in a reliable and consistent manner.

Are you monitoring your lone workers correctly?

6 Questions to ask before hiring a lone worker monitoring service

NZ Directors Is health and safety

These are the questions you should be asking:

  • Is your centre graded or government audited to supply medical monitoring?
  • Is it a professional monitoring centre with trained operators and commercial response software for managing signals in priority? (Or is it a customer service department?)
  • Is the centre staffed 24/7?  (Yes, we know of places where the signals go to a mobile phone after hours!)
  • What business continuity systems, policies and procedures are in place?  (They should have multiple providers for their internet, phones and power and a backup centre in case their building has to be evacuated)
  • What reporting do you have available?
  • How often are operators trained?

As you’d expect, our responses to those questions would be positive. Not every station will provide you with as much certainty. Sure, you’re well within your rights to shop around as you aim to increase the safety of your employees. But we believe we have all the answers to all your questions, and that is why you should contact us first.
