Does lone worker solution include GPS tracking?

A GPS coordinate is useless if it only reaches your desk after the worker is already found.
In Australia and New Zealand, knowing where a worker was an hour ago doesn’t save a life during a critical window. Under the WHS Act 2011 (AU) and HSWA 2015 (NZ), you are legally required to manage the risks of isolated work, which includes having a reliable means of locating a worker in distress.

Locating workers is a legal mandate, not a convenience
Australian and New Zealand legislation requires PCBUs to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers. If a worker fails to check in or an alert is triggered, your ability to provide a timely rescue depends entirely on accurate, real-time location data.
