Because our monitoring centre has a direct dial line to Emergency Comms, there is no delay in “figuring out what services you need” with the 111 operator.  


Guardian Angel uses only very robust solutions with very few false alarms, thus our events are treated as real.  Our cell-based devices have two way voice so the emergency can be immediately verified.  One of our operators stays on the device call with our worker in duress and our second operator engages with the emergency responder and once they’re dispatched, they call the internal escalations of the worker (usually the H&S manager or immediate manager of the worker) if that is our instructions from you.  


We have had 4 real events in the last year and in every instance, Police attended within 5 minutes. Our workers who activated their panic device tell us hearing those sirens was the best sound they’d ever heard.  They also say there is no way, in the situation they were in, they could have found their phone, dialled 111 and had a conversation with an operator about what help they needed or what location they were at.
